DN Products

DN Products Ltd was established on 15th Sept 1990, to treat timber & poles, and manufacture wood related products for various usages within home, offices, schools and the general public.

Over the years, our environmental conservation first philosophy, has seen us taking initiatives in afforestation, charcoal briquettes as a clean cooking alternative, and turning pole harvest waste into furniture.

DN Products Ltd operates out of two locations: The main office is in the City of Dar es Salaam, at Plot 100, Mbezi Beach Industrial Area, just off Africana-Bagamoyo Road junction; and the branch office is located at Mtili, Mafinga in Mufindi District, Iringa Region.

We are fully compliant with BRELA (19523), TRA (TIN 100-261-707 and VRN 100-16713-F), Business Licenses (B2919146 for HQ, and B3057738 for Mtili), TBS (License No. 4090), OSHA (214 102 224), and TFS.

of satisfaction through provision sustainable goods and service.

Our Mission

To deliver best quality and sustainable timber and wood products to the end users in Tanzania and beyond. 

We do this by maintaining a consistent supply of timber wood products and solutions to our customers under a single roof. 

DN Products = Certified Quality

Our products coming from our Mtili plant in at Mufindi, Iringa, are professionally harvested from matured government forest in the Sao Hill plantations. 

All wooden poles are of Eucalyptus species harvested at the age between 15 and 25 years. After harvesting the wooden poles are selected and processed as per TZS standards no TZS 686:2011. The wooden poles are certified by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS). 

Our company has been inspected and approved for certification by TANESCO, the main electric supplier in Tanzania and the award certificate from TANESCO is under process.

DN Products Ltd. as a full-fledged company with over 3 decades in experience, and 2 generations of family, having a solid leadership, under Eng. Dr. Richard Toba, who brings a wealth of experience.

In the branch at Mtili, there are 3 Operational Units: Manufacturing, Marketing, and Business Management. The company has qualified staff endowed with rich experience and geared up for company future growth.

In order to facilitate the operational effectiveness of the company, the Management has placed different Policies and Procedures including, but not limited to: Financial Services Policy and Procedure Manual (FSPM), Materials Management Services Policy and Procedure Manual (MMSPM), Guarantee Policy, Anti Corruption Policy, Protection Services Policy and Procedure Manual (PSPM ), and Language and Job discipline policy.

The leadership, the organization, the people, and the policies, have helped DN Products remain not only efficient, but also effective in its delivery.
